Cadaqués

We love Cadaqués! We’re here in the off season, and so there are few tourists. The town is a white town, reminding me of Greece or Puglia in Italy. Our Airbnb is on a tiny pedestrian street. Finally, after backing out of alleys and circling the town, Jan and I got out, and using her Waze app as a compass, we found it! We wandered all around and had a lovely dinner at Casa Nun, owned by a charming couple since 1979. After dinner, Jan and I walked around the bay and discovered an amazing acoustic guitarist at Cafe Habana. He was playing Suzanne by Leonard Cohen and then songs in Catalan. He plays every night at ten, so we are going there tonight after dinner at El Pescador on the terrazza.

Our favorite aperitivo: Aperol Spritz!

After a Euro for the light box: Santa Maria

I love how they paint the utility panels.

I love this shot! Cadaqués parking spot

    Did you find Dali’s house?

Yes! We loved it! I put up a new post on it, mainly photos because Internet slow, and we are doing so much. Loved especially our hike to the lighthouse at Cap de Creus, although it was scary in parts. Cadaques is such a lovely, quiet place.

Very Mediterranean—just lovely. And, that church is amazing. Who knew light boxes could also be works of art? A great idea!!
