Passagiato con i studenti del Sasso al’Montefollonico

I wanted to walk to the nearby hill town, Montefollonico, and it just so happens the school is offering a hike there as an excursion at 3:30. Richard and Jack already ran/walked around Lago di Montepulciano, so we’re out of synch. I’m looking forward to exercise other than daily stair/hill climbing.
Pui tardi. Io sono stanca. We took two wrong turns, and a 7 kilometer walk turned into a 10 kilometer hike with many inclines. Our teacher, Alberto, led us, and we talked along the way in Italian. I learned that sheep are pecore. Therefore, pecorino cheese means of the sheep!
