Il Matrimonio Italiano

A last, lazy Sunday in Perugia. Went to Mass at San Lorenzo cathedral, and even though they didn’t hand out any bulletins with prayers and the readings, I understood more than ever. It was the Gospel about the loaves and the fishes, “le cinque panne e le due pesce.”

The first photo is for those of you who can remember when you could buy cigarettes from machines. Well, you still can in Italy.

Wandered around an old flea market but didn’t buy anything. I rarely buy anything. Next got my favorite gelato flavor, Riso (rice– like rice pudding) and then watched a wedding. Here are some photos. This afternoon I’ll read and swim, just like at home. The only difference is that I never found a yoga class. Now THAT would have been interesting.
