“I have a crush on that country.” Italian Itinerary:

As an empty nest reward, I planned a six-week Italian idyll this summer for my husband and me. Sadly, after I’d made all the deposits, bought plane tickets, etc., his parents’ health took a turn for the worse. But I am still going. My daughter, newly graduated from college, will join me for the first three weeks, and then my cousin, Charlotte, will join me for the remaining three. (Don’t feel too sorry for Richard. He went out an bought a used Vespa, so he’s going to be riding Italian style here in Austin).

Here’s our itinerary with links to where we are staying:

Sara, I love to read about the places you will be going and the places you will be staying, and imagining being there and seeing the sights, visiting the markets, eating the food, drinking the wine, etc., etc. Thanks for sharing, and letting us travel vicariously through you! Can’t wait to read about the trip through your blog, see the photos, and imagine the note cards from this trip….
